Aiman Hameed

Aiman Hameed is a paralegal at Washington Employment Benefits Advocates. She was born in Pakistan and migrated to the United States in 2011. In her community, Aiman has initiated a project to help translate legal documents for immigrants. She is proficient in several south asian languages such as Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and has a conversational understanding of French and Arabic.

Aiman has a double Honors degree in Political Science and Human Rights from the University of Connecticut and is a co-founder of a Massachusetts-based non-profit called Free Immigration Service, Inc. In 2023, she authored her first book “Women in Charge” mapping the lives of 35 businesswomen from Pakistan.
